Kadi Maiga is the founder and CEO of Afrocentrique. She is based in Greensboro, NC. She started out by selling African jewelry and accessories. What inspired her was her love for African culture and her mother who sold African clothes and gold and silver jewelry. Kadi strives to use this business as a stepping stone to help women and children being abused and forced into marriages in certain countries in west Africa and to bring careers to those with artistic talents but don't have the means of making them a reality.
